Are there life guards at the "quiet pools" in Port Orleans Riverside by the Magnolia or Acadian buildings? We'll be visiting in June.

    Hi Tricia!

You are going to love Port Orleans Riverside at Walt Disney World! Port Orleans is themed after New Orleans and has a huge pool with a saw mill themed water slide and hot tub, children's playground and a Fishin' Hole where guests can rent fishing pools and go fishing.

Typically the "quiet pools" which are the smaller pools located in the sections of the resort, do not have life guards. While the main pool will have several life guards on staff the smaller, quiet pools generally do not. However, this information is subject to change. Check the signs outside of the pool at your resort when you arrive for the latest information regarding the life guard status at that particular pool.

When you are at Port Orleans don't miss Boatright's Dining Hall. The food there is wonderful!

    Magically,
    Stacy
