Hello, Lee! Thanks for bringing another question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I just had lunch at
Liberty Tree Tavern in
Magic Kingdom Park today and asked about this while we were there. While there is a dedicated kids' menu with items such as Oven-roasted Turkey, Seasonal Fish and Macaroni & Cheese offered at lunch, it is only for Guests ages 3 to 9. Guests 10 and over can order adult-sized portions of the same dishes (except the macaroni & cheese) a la carte at lunch, but at dinner everyone will enjoy a family-style Patriot's Platter with a variety of meats and vegetables for a fixed price. This All-You-Care-to-Enjoy Bill of Fare is also available at lunch, but at dinner it is the only option. My family and I prefer to enjoy lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern when my husband and I can share the Revolutionary Meatloaf (and our daughter can get a kid-sized portion of the same thing) and then we all share the unbelievably delicious Apple Fritters for dessert. We've also been able to order this vegetarian option at dinner in lieu of the turkey, pot roast and pork that come on the Patriot's Platter, but it's still the fixed price for adults and children after 3 p.m.
While you're there, make sure you take the time to look around at Liberty Tree Tavern's detailed decor. Look for the hidden Mickey in the painting on the wall in the George Washington room and the desktop-sized printing press and shadow boxes filled with printer's letters in the Benjamin Franklin room. Be sure to check out
The Muppets Present...Great Moments in American History while you're in Liberty Square, too. It's one of my family's favorites.
Huzzah!
