Let's say we are in 2023 use year and I borrowed points from 2025 use year to use for a stay in 2024 use year. If I cancel that 2024 use year reservation, can I then borrow those points to book for a 2023 stay?

Welcome to planDisney, John Karl, and Welcome Home!

As a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, I am consistently impressed with the flexibility of our Membership. We can bank our Vacation Points in years when we may not travel as often or borrow from future Use Years if we have bigger plans for the year. Let's take a look at some of the details surrounding borrowing Vacation Points.

I reached out to a DVC Cast Member with the specifics of your question about borrowing. They reported that Vacation Points can only be borrowed forward by one Use Year. Once the Points are borrowed from the 2025 Use Year, they must be used in the 2024 Use Year time frame. They could not be borrowed again into the 2023 Use Year. However, since I cannot see the specifics of your account and Points, I suggested calling DVC Member Services to review the options for your Point usage. I hope that helps you with planning your DVC adventures for the next year.
