Hi Patty!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I'm a
Disney PhotoPass Service superfan since I'm usually the one behind the camera at most family occasions. Purchasing Memory Maker means I get to be in our Disney vacation photos too, and these special family moments are always some of my most treasured snapshots.
As an
Annual Passholder, I opted to add the Disney PhotoPass upgrade for a full year of photo memories. I enjoy the added bonus of seeing photos from those connected via my
Family & Friends list. Some of my friends say cheese more than others, but I can easily click the "Hide Family & Friends" link at the top center of the photo gallery in the My Disney Experience Mobile App or online if I'm not in the mood to scroll through everyone's vacation captures.
You should be able to view the photos of up to 25 connected friends assuming they have
given you access to view their photos. Your friends will also be able to view yours if you enable permission. Using a
MagicBand+ makes the process super simple as photos will automatically link to a guest's account once the PhotoPass photographer scans the band.
Keep in mind that only the guest who purchases
Memory Maker will have the ability to view and download photos without a watermark. You may need to activate your purchase once the first photo appears in your account in order to remove the watermark. To do so, click on a single image and follow the prompts below. You can also visit with the Guest Experience Team stationed around the parks for assistance.
I'd also like to mention that Memory Maker includes downloads of all photos and videos taken within 30 days of the selected start date. You'll be free to download and share to your heart's content but be sure to download those memories before they expire, typically 45 days after capture.
Patty, I hope this clears up any confusion. If you have any additional questions feel free to come back and see us again. We're always glad to help!
Magic and memories,
Amy
