Is the “Let the magic begin” show being discontinued? It is not listed past Feb 15th

Welcome to planDisney! Dawn thank you so much for dropping in with you question. A proper welcome to Magic Kingdom Park is important, so let's get this show started.

Flitterin' down Main Street U.S.A with Cinderella Castle in the distance is one of my favorite visuals my mind can recall. There is nothing like being greeted in the morning by the opening ceremonies with Mickey Mouse and the gang. The big cheese himself comes out to greet and welcome the guests. Each morning it is so exciting to hear the music and fanfare. As of right now there has been no official announcement for "Let the Magic Begin" show to be coming to an end. From a child I always remember there being an opening show and welcome to all of the first-timers and returning guests. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements regarding new shows, food, and changes headed to the parks. You can also keep an eye on calendar online and times for the show.

There are a couple of Magic Kingdom must-do's I must mention. For thrill seekers TRON Lightcycle / Run is a fast-paced coaster that takes you on a race through the grid. Walking through the queue to enter the Grid is really impressive, the imagineers really took their time transitioning you to enter the Grid for this all important race against the Programs. If you plan on being in the parks early in the morning and plan on staying for the nighttime spectacular Happily Ever After I always recommend a mid-day break. Staying put for at least an hour in a comfy seat will do wonders for your energy during the that special show to close out a magical day. Finding a sweet treat and sweet viewing spot early is always important as it can get crowded quickly. Check the daily schedule and scope out a spot about an hour before the show starts. I like to watch near Casey's Corner, it is a great view and gives you a pathway to Adventureland after the show is complete.

I hope this information is helpful for tracking those listed times that welcome you into the park. Your visit is around the corner and I am getting excited for you!

    Have a magical day,

    Jeremy A.
