Welcome, Emma! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney!
There's not much time left before you touch down in sunny Florida for your magical
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I'm going to assume from your question that you're already so excited your suitcase is out and ready to be packed! The month of April is such a beautiful time to visit, especially because of the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Just this past weekend the Festival opened with tempting new snacks and breathtaking topiaries that will make you wonder "how did they do that?!"
During your visit, I hope you take the time to see and do as much as possible, even if you've been to the Resort many times before. So many new and exciting things are happening this year because of
Walt Disney World Resort's 50th Anniversary, including new attractions like
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and fabulous nighttime fireworks shows like
Disney Enchantment.
I love to hear that you're planning on visiting one of Disney's Water Parks! Sometimes people focus so much on the four Theme Parks that they don't take the time to enjoy all the splashtastic wonder they can only find at a Disney Water Park! Whether you're planning to spend a few hours or an entire day at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, make sure to pack whatever you feel most comfortable in! With attractions and rides like
Humunga Kowabunga and the Crush 'n' Gusher giving you thrills of a lifetime, you're going to want a bathing suit that stays put!
If you refer to the Dress Code information in the
"Know Before You Go" section of the Typhoon Lagoon webpage, you'll see that swimwear "should be appropriate for a family environment" and it specifically states that jeans, wetsuits, and swim attire with buckles and exposed metal are not allowed. Unless your one-piece swim dress has exposed zippers or rivets I can't imagine it would not fit within the dress code policy!
After your day of lazily dreaming as your float down Castaway Creek, stop by
Happy Landings Ice Cream for an EARidescent Ice Dream Cone or a "Sand Pail" filled with soft-serve ice cream and all your favorite toppings!
Happy splashing!
