What are the less crowded days of the week at Magic Kingdom and Epcot?

    Dear Mariclare,

Thank you so much for stopping by here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

This question is such a good one, and yet is also so challenging. I completely understand wanting to catch the Magic Kingdom and Epcot on quieter days, because it can really enhance your experience.

There are no guarantees about which days might be busier than others, but I can give you a bit of guidance from my own experience. At busier times of year, I would recommend going to those two parks on weekdays if you can.

Also, I recommend that you look at the schedule for Extra Magic Hours. Many folks agree that the park that has Extra Magic Hours on a particular date can sometimes have higher crowds. However, that is a personal choice since Extra Magic Hours are also a terrific perk of staying on site, and I love to take advantage of them too, so I guess that my advice on that one is a bit mixed!

Last, I recommend looking at the many crowd calendars online. For example, during Christmas week you can expect high crowd levels every day.

Honestly though, I have had mega fun in both big crowds and in light crowds! I'm sure that you'll have a magical time no matter what day you go!
