Howdy Jon!
I love it when a fellow Texan visits planDisney with a question for us! Thanks for stopping by!
I see you’re preparing to visit the planet of Batuu! Did you know that the people of Batuu, called Batuuans speak Batuuese? Get ready to trade in your “good morning” for “Bright suns” and your “good evening” for “Rising moons!” Fortunately, it’s quite similar to English so you’ll do just fine while visiting. I am so excited for you to experience
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Jon, I was in a conundrum quite like the one you explained where my dining reservation time cut into the time my boarding group was called. The
cancellation policy states that if you cancelled or no-showed that close to the time frame, i.e. within 24 hours, you would be charged. However, if you
call a Cast Member at Dining Reservations and explain your situation, they might be able to move you back or give you other options. When this happened to me, I called and spoke to a Cast Member who was very accommodating and helped move my Advanced Dining Reservation back a little bit so we could enjoy both.
Jon, did you hEAR about the new Virtual Queue Update for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance? It’s spectacular! Now, Guests with a valid ticket or Annual Pass and a
Disney Park Pass reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be able to access the Virtual Queue starting at 7 a.m. ET before you arrive at the Theme Park!
This Disney Parks Blog post has all the details you may be wondering about! Be sure you have the latest version of the
My Disney Experience Mobile app with the party you’d like to experience the attraction with connected to your
Family & Friends list.
’Til the spire, Jon!
