    Leaving for WDW in two and a half weeks! We have a garden view room at the Polynesian. I know there are renovations going on and was wondering what is the best longhouse to request for our 5yr old and 4yr old princesses first visit.

    Hi Jami,

    The Polynesian is such a magical resort! It is my favorite on the monorail. I love the feel of the resort and it just is so laid back.

    Depending on when you are going, these are my recommendations:

    Niue, is located right outside the Great Ceremonial Hall. This is where we stayed. I loved this location because it was located near the main building, close the pool and an easy walk to the Ticket & Transportation Center.

    Samoa and Hawaii are great locations because they are by the Volcano pool. They are also near the children's activities and they are located near the beach which looks across the Seven Seas Lagoon to the Magic Kingdom. Nice spot to watch the nightly fireworks!
