Hi Holly,
Happy New Year and Port Orleans Riverside is one of my family's favorites resorts. We love staying in the mansions of Magnolia Bend. The mansions are close to transportation and food.
For a Mother's Day brunch, you have a lot of great options. The California Grill is one of my favorite restaurants to eat during a Walt Disney World vacation. Located on the top floor of the Contemporary Resort, it offers wonderful views of the Magic Kingdom.
Narcoossee's, located in the Grand Floridian, sits on the Seven Seas Lagoon and it too overlooks the Magic Kingdom. The Grand Floridian is the height of luxury!
If you want a character meal, 1900 Park Fare is located in the Grand Floridian as well and my family enjoys eating here for a fun meal.
For other
brunch options, look at Raglan Road in Disney Springs or Trail's End at Fort Wilderness.
Wishing you a magical day!
Beth
