I will be leaving for WDW in just 11 days! This will be my first Christmas trip although I've been to Disney several times. I've read some that you can get a free photo at the MVMCP. I haven't seen it on the website. Can you really get a free photo?

Hi, Heather!  Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a true holiday extravaganza, with a fabulous holiday parade, festive holiday fireworks, and phenomenal holiday themed shows.

For several years, each family could go to specially designated areas to have their photos taken, and when you returned home from your vacation, a complimentary 5x7 photo would arrive in the mail.  It was a very nice gesture, but you had no options with regard to the photo.  I have quite a few of them myself that never made it to framing because someone had their eyes closed or a baby was crying, or a Dad was looking in the wrong direction.

Now, instead of the free 5x7 photo, you get what I think is a MUCH better offer - 50% off your PhotoPass purchases with your special holiday PhotoPass card!  Now, not only do you have a much better variety of photos to choose from, but you can choose the ones you really love, add borders or text, and order as many as you'd like of whatever photos you'd like.

And if you are still hoping to find some free holiday surprises, there are always delicious holiday sugar cookies and hot cocoa to enjoy at the party!

I hope you have a wonderful holiday visit to Walt Disney World!
