We will be leaving soon on our FIRST Disney trip as a family (son, 6 and dgt, 3). I am concerned that I am forgetting something. Is there any list or link that might have a last minute "to do" list or a suggested packing list?

Hello fellow Kentuckian! What a great question! I know packing for a Disney vacation can seem very overwhelming. When we made our first trip I had the same questions, and I found several very detailed lists to help me. I will honestly say that I found them to be overly detailed and I wound up carting lots of extra stuff we never needed at all, but sometimes there's comfort in having too much rather than too little!

A couple of packing lists you might compare:

    www.AllEars.net

I also found helpful information in the Passporter travel guides.

The most helpful thing for me when I travel with my young daughters, is to pack their clothing in gallon sized zip-sealed bags, one complete outfit per day. This makes it very easy for them to grab one and dress in the mornings, and for you to grab a change of clothes to throw in your park backpack each day. Those bags come in handy later for wet bathing suits and ice-cream covered shirts, too!

Hope that helps, and have a great *First* Disney vacation!
