Hello, we are leaving Sept. 25 with our 2 boys for their 1st trip to WDW, however I looked at the long term forecast and it calls for rain almost the entire time. We also have tickets for MNSSHP. Will the rain effect any part of our trip?

Welcome to Orlando! We visit at this time every year and we've experience lots of rain in Disney. No need to worry - it's very common, and usually blows over pretty quickly as well.

We are also leaving in a couple of weeks, and I always plan for some amount of rain every day. To that end, we like to pack disposable ponchos from the dollar store (two for a dollar!) They are easy to throw on when a storm rolls in, and they allow us to keep enjoying our day, rather than running for shelter. I've found that if you keep on going in the rain, the greatly reduced crowd level allows you to ride quite a bit with very short lines!

Keep in mind that the attractions will remain open unless there is thunder and lightning, so outdoor rides will have the shortest lines. Indoor rides will be especially popular when the showers start!

    Have a great vacation!
