Welcome back, Jennifer!
Let the countdown begin! The next three weeks will fly by as you begin packing and finalizing all of the details for your magical adventure at sea on the
Disney Wonder! Go ahead and get those suitcases out because it's almost time!
You're right, packing for four people for seven days in carry-on suitcases wouldn't work for my family either! We bring our large suitcases when we set sail. When I pack clothes, I need options! Ha! Don't worry about a size limit. If you're flying, whatever you can bring with you as you check it in for the flight will be fine for the cruise. There isn't a stated size limit that I know of, but a large suitcase is certainly allowed. Just keep the regular airline regulations in mind of 50 lbs. for suitcases. Each guest is allowed two checked bags and a carry-on item as well as a personal item, like purse or backpack.
Now, let's talk space to store those bags in the
stateroom. My family and I store our luggage under the bed in our stateroom. Once unpacked, we try to put smaller suitcases inside larger ones and then slide them under the bed. On our last cruise, we needed just a little more storage space for clothes, so we saved one carry-on suitcase, left it open and slid it under the end of the bed so we could pull it out like an extra drawer for clothes.
You'll have plenty of space under the bed and in the closet to keep those suitcases out of the way, Jennifer, so go ahead and
pack regular suitcases as well as carry-on's so that your family has what they need for this exciting vacation.
Have such fun!
Marcy
