    leaving POR and going to Whispering canyon café for dining at 8:05, how do we get there and what time do we leave POR? Thanks

    Hey Krista!

    You are going to have a rip roarin' good time a Whispering Canyon Café. (Don't forget to ask for some ketchup and straws).

    To make your 8:05 p.m. reservation I suggest taking a bus from Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside Resort to the Magic Kingdom. From there you can jump on a boat to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I would expect the trip to take at least 45 minutes but just to be safe I suggest you plan leaving no later than 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to your Advanced Dining Reservation. Even if you do arrive a little early you can take some time exploring this gorgeous resort.

    Here is a tool I use constantly to help me navigate the vast Disney Transportation system. OurLaughingPlace.com has a feature called the Transportation Wizard. You can use the wizard to find route to and from resorts, theme parks, water parks, Downtown Disney and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. It also features an estimate on the amount of time it will take.
