. We are leaving Orlando on a late flight home, and wonder if we can stay in our room for 1/2 the day for a fee, on our departure day. We are staying at AKL, and would like the room till at least 5 pm. i have a pkg booked we cant add on.

    Hi Lori,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You should be able to arrange for a late check-out at your Disney Resort hotel. One year when we were visiting Walt Disney World, a family member became ill the day we were set to check-out. We called the Front Desk and they allowed us to stay in our room for a couple more hours. If you already know you would like to remain in your room after the 11:00 a.m. check-out time, I would suggest letting a Cast Member know this when you check-in to the hotel. When you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel, visit the Front Desk and a Cast Member will be able to help you further. Please let me know if I can assist you with another question before your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
