    Leaving in one week to sail away on the Fantasy. I try to pack as light as possible, so I would like to know if the hairdryer in the stateroom is full size or more like a compact hotel one. Thanks!

    How exciting that you are sailing so soon! Packing for a cruise can be quite tricky, so saving any small space and weight in your luggage is crucial. Never fear, the hairdryers on the Disney Fantasy are full size and great! You won't find it in the bathroom, however, it will be in one of the drawers near the desk in your stateroom. There is a special plug just for the hairdryer located there as well.

    Some last minute items you might want to consider throwing into your bag, now that I have saved you a little room include:

    • Clothes pins...these are great for keeping your towel on your chair up on the pool decks, as it gets pretty windy up there.
    • A large Tervis or water bottle...the cups at the drink stations are small. If you would like to fill up your own, Disney Cruise Line asks that you use one of the disposable cups at the station when you are filling, for sanitary purposes.
    • Singles...for tipping room service. Be sure to order warm cookies and milk before bed one night or a Mickey Premium Ice Cream bar for an afternoon snack.

    Don't forget to double check that you have your swimsuit and sunscreen!
