Bonjour, Aimee! Oh my Disney... just a few more sleeps until your arrival at The Most Magical Place on Earth! I'd love to give you some
food for thought to help make your trip extra magical.
The French-inspired food at
Be Our Guest Restaurant in
Magic Kingdom Park is
très délicieux, making it one of the more difficult dining reservations to get since it's opening in late 2012. Both breakfast and lunch are considered Quick Service meals, while dinner is a Table Service meal that was recently upgraded to a prix fixe Signature Restaurant. Unlike most Quick Service eateries on property, reservations are strongly recommended here, even if you plan to dine here for breakfast or lunch.
Guests with breakfast or lunch reservations can also pre-order their meals online.
Since Walt Disney World does not offer a dining waitlist, what's one to do if they can't snag a dinner reservation? Well, it's probably a little easier to get a reservation for breakfast or lunch since many diners want the chance to meet the Beast, who is only available during dinner. Here's another Moms Panel tip: Try making your reservation during less-popular meal times, such a late lunch as opposed to dinner. I was able to get a 4:00 PM dinner time for my upcoming trip this way. I also advise you to be vigilant about checking for reservations on the Walt Disney World website several times a day before your trip. Most Walt Disney World restaurants have a
24-hour cancellation policy, and often, you can find an opening as other guests adjust their plans at the last minute. I like to use a Reservation Finder Tool, like the one on Touring Plans (which is a subscription-based website). They will send you either a text or email alert when a reservation time is available to book.
Bonne chance (good luck), Aimee, and don't forget to try the Grey Stuff!
