We are leaving from Miami on a four day cruise. I have never left from this port before. I always travel in a day early and stay in a hotel. I am afraid of missing the boat. Is there any hotels you know of that are close or offer a shuttle to the port?

    Ahoy Tracy!
Welcome back to the Moms Panel!  I'm excited to hear you are embarking on another cruise adventure on the magnificent Disney Wonder!  If you are worried about missing the boat, my first recommendation is to look into the hotels which have partnered with Disney Cruise Line to provide comfortable pre-cruise accommodations and ground transportation.  The JW Marriott Hotel Miami and Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach are your two options.  Currently, the ground transportation charges per person are $40 which will include a shuttle to the hotel, shuttle to the port and a shuttle back to the airport.  By selecting this option, your family's travels will be seamless and smooth.  If this sounds like a good plan for your crew, just give Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 to add your pre-cruise hotel stay and ground transportation to your cruise reservation.
I also know of several airport hotels such as the SpringHill Suites-Miami Airport and Hampton Inn & Suites Miami Airport South that offer airport and port shuttles.  This may interest you as well and if you look on the various hotel websites you can find out if transportation services are available.
It was great to hear from you again, Tracy! Please keep me posted as you think of more cruise questions!
    Have a magical day!
