We are leaving on Magic at the end of February with a 4 year old and a 2 year old. We are not planning to purchase any pre-planned excursions, but are wondering if there are bus services from the port terminal to the beaches on Grand Cayman?

Welcome aboard, Mark! I absolutely love Grand Cayman. It is such a friendly island and a great spot for your young family. When you stop there, you will take a tender boat from the Magic to the island, so expect that to take about 10 minutes. Once on the island, there will be many taxis to choose from, and you can simply let your driver know which beach you'd like to visit and even ask your driver to come back for you at a specific time. Seven Mile Beach is pretty close and is a great option!

The bus system on the island is user-friendly as well, and it does go by Seven Mile Beach. The bus terminal is close to the library downtown, just a short 2-block walk from the port. You'll find color-coded bus routes, so just ask there which route will take you to the beach you choose.
