    Hi, we're leaving in less than 10 days with our two dd's and my husband's family. I read previous answers where you recommend cell phones for communicating, but we're int'l visitors and roaming is expensive. Can I get cheap cell phones at WallMart?

    You can pick up inexpensive cell phones.  My sister lives abroad and she did this when they were here in August.  They were in the States for 6 weeks so she bought a phone with more minutes and I believe it cost her around $30, but we saw them as low as $10 depending on the plan.

    Another possibility is walkie-talkies.  If you get a nicer model with good range and several channels, these can work out very well.  This would only help if you plan to be in the same park each day though - the range will not be sufficient to radio from one park to another.
