Ahoy David!
A Thanksgiving cruise on the Disney Fantasy will definitely be a holiday to remember! A delicious Thanksgiving feast will be served, and the best part is that your crew won't have to do any of the cooking or cleaning! NFL football will be shown on the Funnelvision up on Decks 11 & 12, and the characters will be in their tradition Thanksgiving attire! Sounds like a perfect holiday celebration to me!
On your seven night sailing, you will rotate to the three main dining rooms visiting each dining room twice and one three times! Reservations do not need to be made as each family is assigned a specific rotation to follow along with the same table number and servers each evening! You will be amazed at how quickly your servers get to know you and your family's dining preferences. Palo and Remy (
the adult-only dining venues) are the only reservations that need to be made for dining. These can be made online in the
Planning Center Section of the Disney Cruise Line website once your onboard booking window opens up. These dining restaurants do charge an additional fee per person so they are completely optional, but highly recommended!
As for packing, I usually bring sundresses, skirts or capri pants with coordinating tops for my daughter while my son wears nice khaki shorts or pants with a polo or button down shirt. Nice jeans are ok too and if you have a young daughter, princess gowns are perfect!
There is a packing list located in the Planning Center Section of the Disney Cruise Line website as well!
If I can assist you further, please let me know!
Have a magical day!
