Hello! We are leaving for Disney in two weeks and plan on visiting one of the water parks, but not sure which one. Which one would be better for a 16 & 14 year old both of whom are thrill seekers?

    Hello Jennifer,

Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it!  I'm so excited to hEAR you are planning to visit a Disney Water Park during your upcoming trip. My family has visited both Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park many times in the past and have always thoroughly enjoyed each experience.

Although my children, which range in age from 12 to 19, enjoy riding the waves in the Surf Pool at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, they prefer the unique theming and exciting waterslides at Disney's Blizzard Beach. After all, what can be more thrilling than plunging down 12 stories on the iconic Summit Plummet?  You honestly can't go wrong in choosing either of the Disney Water Parks; however, my vote would be Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park for your thrill seekers.

I hope this information has been helpful in making the best decision for your family. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a splash-tastic trip, Jennifer!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
