Ahoy Denise!
A Disney Cruise on the Disney Dream is a wonderful choice for your family because there will definitely be things for your children to enjoy together! There will be a section in your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter that will list activities for Guests of All Ages. Be sure to pay close attention to the listings here because they will be great for the entire family. There will be deck parties, character greetings, dance parties, crafts, guest entertainers, first-run movies, and Broadway-style shows that you can experience together. The Oceaneer Club and Lab offer "Open House" hours each day where Guests of all ages can experience free play or the planned programming. It might be fun for your 15 year old to take your two year old to play in Andy's Room, Monster's Academy, Pixie Hollow and Disney's Explorer Pod during these times. The hours will be listed in your cruise newsletter each day for your convenience.
The
Disney Cruise Navigator App is a great new tool introduced by Disney Cruise Line in the past few months. It is optional because you will still have paper Personal Navigator to use during your sailing if you'd like. The app will give you the latest info on all the ship's happenings, let you create a favorite's list, and allow you to have a map of the ship at your fingertips. The app connects to the ship's Wi-Fi network so it is free to use during your cruise vacation. If you decide to download it just make sure you remember to put it on your phone before arriving at the port.
Thank you for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question, Denise! If you think of anything else, please let us know!
Have a magical day!
