Leaving in 9 days for cruise on the Magic to Europe! Wanting to know just how good are the in-stateroom hair dryers...should I pack my own, or is theirs adequate. Thanks!

Hi again, Christine! You must be so excited to head overseas very soon so that you can experience some really amazing parts of Europe with Disney Cruise Line!

I've sailed on the Magic a few times since it was re-imagined last fall, and it was then that they added another hair dryer for guests in each stateroom. The old versions are still there, mounted on the walls in the bathroom, but those do tend to take quite awhile to dry my hair. I was so happy that individual hair dryers were added in each stateroom, and I've found them to be wonderful, drying my hair much faster than the wall-mounted old versions. You'll find the newer hair dryers in a fabric bag in one of the desk drawers. You can plug it in right on the desk and have a nice place to dry your hair in front of that mirror. No need to pack your own, as that is just one more thing to weigh down your suitcase, and you know you'll be needing extra space to bring back souvenirs from your cruise and your adventures in each port!

I hope that helps as you begin packing your bags for this magical trip, Christine! Enjoy every moment!
