We are leaving on a 3 day Cruise from Port Canaveral and returning to the same port. What paperwork or passports will we need for Myself, Wife, and our 3 year old child?

Hey there, Zachary! Ahoy and welcome aboard planDisney! Your June cruise will be here before you know it, so I am glad you are getting all your paperwork details squared away and in shipshape now!

A three-day Disney Cruise Line sailing from Port Canaveral will whisk you away to the Bahamas for sunshine, island vibes, and plenty of Disney magic! Since this is a closed loop cruise that both begins and ends at the same port, you have a few documentation options depending on citizenship.

The most common and smoothest sailing option is for each Guest to travel with a valid, government issued passport. If everyone in your party is a US citizen, there is also the option for Guests to present an original birth certificate, along with a valid government issued photo ID for all Guests age 18 and older. Because documentation requirements can change, I always recommend reviewing the Passports, Visas, and Citizenship Documentation page on the Disney Cruise Line website before your sailing so you are fully prepared and ready to board with ease!

Once onboard, get ready for an unforgettable voyage! Rotational Dining is one of my favorite parts of a Disney Cruise. You get to experience different themed restaurants while your amazing wait staff follows along with you each night! The Broadway style shows, deck parties, and entertainment throughout the ship entertain Guests of all ages. I can almost guarantee that by the time your cruise comes to an end, you will not be ready to disembark!

Disney Cruise Line even makes it easy to start planning your next adventure before this one is over. Be sure to stop by the Future Cruise Placeholder Desk onboard to place a reduced deposit toward a future sailing. You will have up to 24 months to book, and many sailings include a placeholder discount. Best of all, the deposit is refundable if plans change! Talking about this reminds me, I need to go select my own Placeholder Reservation cruise! I have my eye on a few!

Zachary, your countdown to calm seas and ocean breezes is officially underway! I hope your family has the most magical time at sea. If any more questions pop up while you are planning, please cruise back and visit us again. We are always happy to help!

    Bon Voyage!
