We are leaving for our 1st cruise on the Disney Fantasy. Unfortunately, I will have to work a bit while I'm onboard. Can someone tell me if I'm able to get wifi in our stateroom and how good is it? I just need to read/send emails, no downloads.

    Ahoy Stanley!
Welcome to the Moms Panel and congratulations on your first magical voyage on the newest gem in the Disney fleet!  I totally understand needing to stay in touch with work via email during your week long sailing.  My family cruised over spring break, and my husband was in your same boat (no pun intended...). Although the wi-fi service is slower on the ship than land, he found it quite adequate for reading and sending his work emails from our stateroom.  Cove Cafe on Deck 11 (adult-only) and Vista Cafe on Deck 4 are quiet hot spots where you may find the service to be a bit speedier.
Once you board the ship, stop by Guest Services and pick up a Wireless Internet Services Information sheet.  This sheet will provide you with all the details on how to log-in and out and pricing plans.  Pricing is always subject to change, but currently the rates are 75 cents per minute, and packages range from 100 to 500 minutes ($55.00 to $150.00).
I hope this helps, Stanley!  If you need any other assistance, please let me know!
Have a magical day and bon voyage!
