Ahoy, Gloria!
You are in for a cruise like no other when you set sail for your
Alaskan adventure! I know what all you have to look forward to because my family experienced an amazing vacation to the Last Frontier last summer. My son was 10 and loved seeing first-run movies, swimming in the pool and participating in Anna's Chocolate Chase Scavenger Hunt when he wasn't visiting the Oceaneer Club and Lab. When he was checked in, he enjoyed GAGA Ball, the Piston Cup Challenge and the Marshmallow Olympics just to name a few. Also, it's just been announced there will be some
new character interactions in the youth spaces including Marvel Super Hero Academy: Spider-Man's Web Warrior 101 and Andy's Room: Woody's Roundup that both sound perfect for seven year olds! On the day the ship sails through Tracy Arm, the boys can experience Base Camp up on the Wide World of Sports Deck. They will be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of this spectacular fjord while playing on deck with all their friends!
On your seven-night Alaskan cruise, you'll have four cruise casual night (one Frozen-themed), one formal night and a semi-formal night.
As for the buffet, you'll find it filled with a wide variety of offerings including seafood, chicken, pasta, pizza, burgers, carved meats, rice dishes, salad, cheeses, deli meats, fruits, breads and desserts. It will offer some of the same foods each day, but you will also find some variations. On the day the ship sails through Tracy Arm,
Cabanas will have an outside barbecue (weather permitting) featuring grilled salmon and some other local offerings for you to enjoy.
