Can we leave the park and return to the park on the same day with a base ticket? How much is parking?

Hi Lavesha! Thanks for bringing your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I see that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is right around the corner!

When purchasing a one-day ticket to any of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, you’re able to enter and exit that same park as many times as you need to. I have two young girls, so nap time is a must. My family and I have entered the parks first thing in the morning, exited mid-day for that all-important nap, and we’ve all come back to enjoy fireworks and attractions at night.

Guests pay a $22 fee for standard parking at any of the four Disney theme parks. What’s great is, once you’ve paid for parking at one theme park, let’s say Epcot, and you decide to visit the Magic Kingdom Park later on that same day, you won’t have to pay for parking again. Just show the Parking Attendant Cast Member your receipt and you’re good to go!

Preferred parking will cost you $45. That’s because these spaces are really close to the entrances of the theme parks.

Lavesha, did you know that guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can enjoy complimentary standard parking at all four theme parks? It’s just one of the many benefits of being a Disney Resort hotel guest!

The Walt Disney World Resort is a spectacular place to be on the 4th of July! I love the patriotic buntings that decorate the streets of Main Street U.S.A. I hope you and your family have a great visit! Say hi to Mickey for me!
