Can we leave the park to go out and eat lunch at our car and then re-enter the park?

Hi Jarrod and welcome to planDisney!

How exciting that your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up so soon with less than a month to go!  I'm sure you're making your final plans by now and getting ready to start packing.  This year has flown by, so it'll be a great start to the new year by visiting with Mickey Mouse and friends.

All of the Walt Disney World theme parks allow re-entry, so you are more than welcome to pop out for lunch and come back in to enjoy the rest of your day.  Outside food is allowed in the parks as well as long as there is no glass, so you can bring your lunch and snack in with you so you don't have to take the time to head out to your car.  There are lockers for rent for your convenience so you don't have to carry items you don't need with you all day and there are plenty of tables and chairs all around the parks to enjoy your lunch.

If you will be staying past January 12th, head over to EPCOT to enjoy the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.  I enjoy all of the festivals at EPCOT, but this one is one of my favorites.  My kids enjoy the Paint by Numbers Mural activity and taking fun photos with the fun photo backgrounds and props.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
