I am visiting from Canada. I would like to know if I can buy my ticket the day of visit and pay by cash?

Hi Abigail and welcome to planDisney!

How exciting that your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up so soon!  I'm sure you're in the final planning stages and starting to get your packing list organized.  This weekend will be here before you know it!  You'll be visiting during my favorite time of year, too!  I love seeing all of the festive decorations all around the Disney Resort hotels, theme parks and Disney Springs.

You can certainly purchase park tickets at the ticket windows at the theme parks with cash on the day of your visit, but you do run the risk of the park you choose not having available reservations for the day.  Since you are visiting during the busiest time of year, you may see that certain parks are fully booked during your visit next week.  Looking at the theme park reservations calendar right now, all theme parks are green for your arrival date on 12/17/2023, however this can change at any moment.  If you have United States dollars (USD), I suggest saving your cash to make your purchases when you are there for things like souvenirs, Disney dining and parking if you will have your own vehicle and purchasing your park tickets in advance to secure your theme park reservations.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
