We leave October 6 for a 4 night Disney Wonder cruise and I see that some cruises have special apparel suggestions - how do we know if our cruise has a "pirate" "dressy" or any other kind of dining apparel suggestion during our cruise?

Welcome aboard, Michele! It sounds like this might be your very first cruise with Disney, and if it is, you are really in for a treat. No matter how many times we sail with Disney Cruise Line, we always have the best vacations and enjoy new activities and events. But, the very first cruise is such a special one, as everything will be brand new for you and there really is so much to explore!

Your four-night sailing on the Disney Wonder will have one Optional Dress Up night. Most people do bring a dressier outfit for that evening, and even the Disney characters get in on the fun that night, wearing their fanciest outfits. We love to bring more formal attire for that evening so we can get family photos and even pictures with Mickey in his tuxedo!

Pirate Night will be another evening of your cruise. Do bring pirate costumes or accessories to wear that evening. Pirate-themed menus will be served in the restaurants, your servers will be dressed in their pirate gear, and you'll all enjoy a swashbuckling good time! They'll even give each guest a Mickey's Pirates IN The Caribbean bandana to wear. Then, after dinner, be sure to head up on deck for the Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party, rounded out by the Buccaneer Blast Fireworks at sea, like only Disney can do! It's one of my kids' favorite nights onboard every single time we sail!

Your other two nights will be Cruise Casual Dress. Check out the details about Onboard Dining Attire on the Disney Cruise Line website for more details. Have a great time planning the last details of your cruise and enjoy a wonderful vacation, Michele!
