Welcome aboard, Tonnesha! With just over a month left until you set sail on the Disney Fantasy, your family, especially your two little princesses, must be so excited!
I've got great news for you about the Christmas decorations on the ship. Your cruise will certainly have the halls decked by the time you arrive. In fact, this year, the
Very Merrytime Cruises with Disney begin November 9th. Take a look at Disney Cruise Line's website for more information on the festivities you can expect, and see a few photos from last year's Christmas cruises.
On Castaway Cay, you'll get to experience a magical snowfall thanks to the magic of Disney! But, on the ship you're in for even more treats. Be sure to attend King Triton's Tree Lighting Ceremony on the first night of your sailing. One lucky child will be chosen to help light the tree, but all guests will get to enjoy the fun in the atrium with their Disney friends.
The Deck the Deck holiday party is not to be missed. With games, music and other festive fun up on deck, be sure to have your camera ready as there will be some great memories being made. Speaking of cameras, keep them handy because the Disney characters will be dressed in their Christmas best at certain times during your sailing, which makes for some great photo opportunities (think family Christmas card!) especially if your family packs their Christmas outfits too.
Add to that fun holiday storytellers, a giant gingerbread house and all sorts of holiday themed activities for your girls in the Oceaneer Club and Lab, and you're in for one very magical holiday at sea, Tonnesha. Please let me know if you have any other questions before you set sail next month! Happy planning!
