After I leave my luggage with bell service where I am staying in the Disney parks, where can I go? Can I stay in the park even though I am checked out until I get my luggage? Or do I need to leave the premises?

Hi there, Melissa, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and it sounds like you're planning to spend every last second in the magic. I like the way you think! Let's look at how check-out day works for guests of Disney Resort Hotels.

Bell Services at your resort will be happy to store your luggage after you check out. Be sure to have your reservation information handy, and snap a photo of the claim ticket they give you. In my experience, those tiny slips of paper tend to get misplaced during a fun day in the parks!

While there's no set time limit for leaving your luggage there, I recommend you check with the Cast Members at your resort. As long as you plan to pick up your bags later that same day, you're typically free to head out to do whatever you like. If you have valid theme park admission, you can spend the day experiencing attractions and eating yummy food with no baggage...literally and figuratively!

My bonus tip is that you even have Early Theme Park Entry on your check-out day! Early birds can take advantage of that extra 30 minutes at any park, so allow a few extra minutes to store your bags before going to a park.

My favorite way to spend time before my flight home is to visit Disney Springs. I can select some last-minute souvenirs and gifts for my dog sitter, and I may or may not stop by Salt & Straw for a sugar pick-me-up! However you spend your time, I'm sure it will be magical.

Melissa, I appreciate you taking the time to stop by planDisney. Leaving the Disney bubble is always a bit sad, so I hope I've eased your mind and helped you get a little bit more enchantment from your trip. Here's to a practically perfect time!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
