Hi All! I leave for Disney March 3rd and so far I see rain in the forecast. I know that this is an early prediction but what are some activities my 5 yr old daughter and I can do to stay dry during the rain?

    Hi, Jacqueline!
I've visited Walt Disney World Resort a few times during rainy days. I have a few tips that I think will help you plan in advance.

First, don't worry. Many days where rain is forecasted, you will have times in the day when it is rainy, but it will probably not rain all day. If it does rain all day, know that fewer people will be in the parks, and you'll have smaller crowds!

Second, bring some supplies in a backpack for when you visit the parks. Ponchos are great and a plastic bag to hold them after the rain stops. Extra socks and maybe even extra shoes if you're concerned. (The extra socks make a huge difference.) My husband wears solid hiking sandals to avoid the sock problem. Flip flops won't cut it. If you have room, have an extra outfit for your daughter just in case she gets soaked.

I have some pretty wonderful memories of my family on rainy days at the parks. I know you'll have an unforgettable experience no matter what!
