Hello! We leave for Disney on January 8th!! Yay! Anyways we our celebrating a birthday on Monday the 9th and we are eating at O'hana that night I was wondering if we could bring in our own cake or do we have to go through Disney to have a cake there?

    Hi, Laken!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for birthday tips. I absolutely love celebrating birthdays at Walt Disney World Resort.

The wait staff at 'Ohana will not stop you from bringing in your own cake but I will say it's so much easier to let the Cast Member at the front of the restaurant know you'd like a birthday cake. Each restaurant at Walt Disney World offers a chance to pre-order a birthday cake before you sit down to your table. I recently took advantage of this service and was able to keep it a surprise for our birthday girl. There are SO many ways to celebrate a birthday at Disney World.

Make sure you ask for a birthday button when you arrive at your Disney Resort Hotel or one of the Disney Parks Guest Services. I love watching a person celebrating a birthday get all the extra happy birthday messages thanks to that pin!

Have a magical vacation and a super fun birthday celebration!
