We leave on December 28 for our trip to DisneyWorld. We're surprising our girls with the trip Christmas morning. Is there some kind of phone call I could arrange from a character to announce the trip? I looked on-line but the messages don't fit.

In 2007, Disney offered a special holiday phone call from mickey to announce a surprise Disney vacation. Unfortunately, that specific call is no longer available.

There is, however, the Disney's Enchanted Call service, which I'm guessing might be what you have already looked at. There are several options for personalization, including your choice of character making the call. the reason for the call, and the flow of the message after that. For your situation, you might select a holiday greeting and then 'Merry Christmas', or 'encouragement' and then 'for an upcoming trip' (to Disney of course!). I realize this isn't exactly what you were hoping to find, but hopefully you can find something that would work for you.

I have seen lots of awesome 'surprise Disney trip announcements' online - and in fact, that very search term brought up lots of fun suggestions for how to spring the big news on your kids. Perhaps you will find another way to reveal the magic if the phone call isn't quite what you were hoping to find.

    Good luck!
