We leave in 2 days & my 9y/o son just broke his pinky. Not a major injury, but he's got a splint & ace bandage. Will he be able to ride the rides & swim? Is there anything special I should know/do? He is so upset.

I can't speak to this from a medical position, obviously you'll have to discuss with his doctor what usage protocols are most appropriate for your son's recovery. But Disney won't have any problems with your son's injury. A few years ago, one of my daughters broke her thumb a few days before a Disney trip. She had a cast on from her palm to her mid forearm. She was able to ride every ride at WDW that she wanted to; no cast members even mentioned the cast. She also had a waterproof liner for her cast and was able to go in the pools and on the water slides with no problems at all. I think your son will be fine. Just relax and enjoy your trip.
