    Leave in 4 days for Disney's marathon weekend. We only have time to go to Magic Kingdom on Friday. I just checked the calendar for that date and it said that nothing is planned. no fireworks or parade. Is that right? I checked before and they were in.

    Mary, I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time during the marathon weekend whether you're there as a spectator or runner. On Friday, January 9 2009, the Magic Kingdom is open from 9 am until 8 pm. The Disney Dreams Come True Parade is scheduled to take place that day at 3 pm, and the fireworks, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, are scheduled for 8 pm.
