We leave on Aug 23-I noticed in another post that you can make autograph books and passports-my kids love to to crafts-if anyone has done this-how many pages should we make?how many squares for the passport? I don't want them to run out. Tx 4 all the help

    Hi Kerry,

We love making homemade autograph books and passports as well as carrier tubes for our pennies to use in the pressed penny machines, These are all great ways to help pass the days as we count down to our Disney World vacation.

We always like to make ours a little on the big side as we have had a few trips where we ran out of space. There are a number of different ways we have made our books, including purchasing a small spiral bound notebook and re-covering it and then decorating it with Disney stickers. We have also used spiral clips and cut card stock in half and punched holes in the card stock and connected it  with the clips. We have even taken previous pictures of the boys with Disney characters and laminated or scanned them on to paper and added them to the book for the character to sign on. The Disney pals love when they see themselves in the autograph book.

I like using the card stock and clips as it allows us to add extra pages in the event we start to run low. I would plan on having at least twenty to thirty pages in their passports for stamps and writing and notes they may want to make on what they learn about that country. I typically start with around fifty to seventy pages in the autograph book. The kids like to use theirs now as a journal to keep track of their favorite memories so we have begun adding even more pages.

You can find some great ideas and pictures of homemade books at www.passporter.com or www.disboards.com or by search on Google for Disney autograph books. Have fun!
