What would be the least crowded week, May 23/30 2009 or May 30/June 6, 2009?

    Shannon,

The week of May 23-30 should be lighter than the week of May 30-June 6. The reason is that the second week you listed will coincide with the first half of the GayDays event that runs from the second through the 8th. This gathering, as described in greater detail in this reply by Anna, can cause the crowds to swell rather quickly. In particular, the amount of adults in the park grows, making a group that is looking to ride thrill rides have to contend with longer lines.

The increase is not so large that the parks are too busy, however. Either week, in my experience, is a pretty ideal park size, tending towards too busy, but never being so hectic that it makes me want to leave the parks early.

    Have a magical vacation!
