    I learn so much from you all ! Beth C-you answered a recent question about someone comparing Nov & Jan visits. I'm concerned because you said the Xmas decorations at MK wld not be up until day before Thanksgiving. Is this correct? How about during MVM

    Hi Heather,

    Thank you for helping me to learn a thing or two about Disney. I apologize for not providing a complete picture of the holiday decorations at the Magic Kingdom.

    Magic Kingdom will be partially decorated for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This is allows the guests attending the party prior to Thanksgiving to experience some of the holiday magic in the Magic Kingdom.

    The Magic Kingdom will get the finishing touches on Thanksgiving eve when the true holiday magic is revealed Thanksgiving Day. The Castmembers perform an amazing transformation of the park in just a few short hours.

    I am happy about this because the spirit of the holidays comes alive on Thanksgiving which was always my favorite day with family. It is one tradition I am not yet ready to let go of just yet!
