Can my 85lb soon to be 5 year old use one of the strollers from Disney World? Is there a weight limit? I can't find one here that will fit him comfortably. We used a Disney one in 2008 when we went, and he enjoyed it more than the one we had brought.

Hi, Bethany!  I have never seen a posted weight limit on the Walt Disney World strollers, and I have to tell you, I've seen children much older than five packed in those double strollers!  The strollers are really very sturdy, and I think at the end of a long day, even the biggest kids are trying to squeeze in their with little brothers and sisters to avoid a walk out of the park.  I would think your five year old is going to be absolutely fine.

We have used the double strollers in the past, and found them to be just fine for our two younger children, up until our middle daughter was about six and a half.  She's big for her age, and there just wasn't leg room for her by the time she hit seven, but even as recently as a year ago - at age eight - she squeezed in with her little sister to watch a parade.

I think your little guy is going to be fine in the stroller.  And you can let him try both the single and double to see which one would be most comfortable.

    Have a great vacation!
