Welcome aboard, Sheila! Debarkation day is such a bittersweet day on your Disney Cruise Line vacation. After making so many magical memories onboard and in the exciting ports of call, it will come time to wave goodbye and head home. I understand that you'll want to soak up every last minute possible onboard!
I'll tell you a little bit about how that final morning works. The night before, any luggage you're not carrying off the ship will be picked up and sent ahead for you. Be sure to keep a day bag with items you'll need in the morning. Guests are assigned a specific restaurant and breakfast time for that last morning. You'll dine in the same Table Service spot where you enjoyed the dinner on that last night. Guests who had main dining have breakfast around 6:45 a.m. and guests who had second seating for dinner have an assigned breakfast that last day of about 8:00. All guests are asked to be out of their staterooms by 8:00 a.m., and must be off of the ship by 9:00 a.m., though the ship is usually cleared to begin debarkation around 7:30 a.m. Keep in mind that you'll require additional time after leaving the ship to then collect your luggage in the terminal and make your way through customs.
Cabanas will be open throughout the morning too, if you'd prefer to simply grab a bite to eat at the buffet instead of attending your specific Table Service restaurant. We love to eat in our assigned restaurant instead of Cabanas for that last day, because it's a chance for us to say goodbye to our dining service team who has been with us throughout
Rotational Dining each night.
I hope those details help as you plan your upcoming cruise with Captain Mickey and his crew, Sheila! We're happy to help if you have additional questions!
