Ahoy there, Julie,
It is great to see you aboard planDisney! You have such a dreamy
Disney Cruise Line vacation in your future, that combines two of my favorite things, the
Disney Dream and the amazing city of Barcelona. I’m a little jealous, to be honest, but that is outweighed by my excitement for you!
Usually, the last day of a cruise is so sad, but stepping off in Barcelona will make it a little easier, I hope. Julie, typically, you will be asked to be out of your stateroom by 8:00 a.m. on debarkation day so the Crew can begin preparing the staterooms for the next cruise.
Now, the time and place of your breakfast will depend on your
rotational dining schedule, so check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once on board for details. The Main Dining debark breakfast start time will range between 6:30 - 7:15 a.m. The Second Dining debark breakfast start time will range between 7:45 - 8:30 a.m. Typically, as long as you have vacated your stateroom, you can arrive for breakfast at the later end of the schedule and enjoy your breakfast.
After breakfast, I usually linger for a moment to take a few last photos in the main lobby and use the restroom before debarking. Even then, I am mindful that the Crew has a new group of eager Guests to prepare for, so I follow the recommended debarkation procedure and say goodbye to the ship fairly quickly after breakfast is over. Julie, itineraries vary, so keep an ear out for the actual debarkation announcements on your particular sailing.
I hope this information is helpful to you and that your debarkation day goes smoothly. Please sail back by if you have any other questions or would like some tips for making the most of your Disney Cruise Line vacation. Our planDisney cruise specialists,
Tracie and
Adrianna, know all the ropes!
Wishing you a magical adventure!
Shannon
