What is the latest time to cancel a resort hotel reservation?

    Hi there William,

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a Dapper Day.

This answer depends on how you booked your reservation, whether you booked a hotel and ticket package or a room only package, each has its own policy. If you booked a room only package, you can cancel 5 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel 0-4 days prior to your arrival date, the first night’s room rate plus tax will be retained as a cancel fee.

If you booked a hotel and ticket package, you can cancel 30 days or more prior to your arrival date with no fee. If you cancel 9-2 days prior to arrival, there is a $200 cancellation fee. If you cancel 1 day prior to arrival, the cancellation fee is 100% of package price. Please keep in mind that if you included flights on your package, you may incur additional fees based on airline policies. If you need to cancel a hotel reservation, please call the Walt Disney Travel Company at (714) 520-5060.

I hope this helps you. Please feel free to visit us again with any other questions you may have!

    Wishing you a magic!
