Ahoy, Kelly!
Thank you for sailing back by with another cruise question about your
Alaska adventure! There was not a late night buffet when my crew sailed to Alaska a couple of years ago, but I do remember enjoying the barbecue served outside on deck on the day sailing through Tracy Arm. I hope this will be offered on your upcoming cruise and suggest asking once you are aboard. The barbecue on our sailing was located outside behind what is now
Cabanas on Deck 9. The regular fare was available inside and a few grilled foods like fish, steak, chicken and sausage along with some side items were outside. I also enjoyed the bread bowls offered at Goofy's Galley and the creamy hot chocolate served on deck. They were all perfect cold weather foods to eat while the captain navigated his way through the fjord to Sawyer Glacier.
If you do tend to get hungry before bed, be sure to check your Personal Navigator and the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for late night food options. When I sailed on the Disney Wonder a few months ago, I satisfied my cravings by visiting
Eye Scream (usually serving ice cream until 11:00 p.m.), Pinocchio's Pizzeria, the Promenade Lounge or O'Gill's Pub (adult's only). And don't forget
Room Service is available 24 hours a day! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it all!
We appreciate you continuing to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kelly! Hope to "sea" you again real soon.
Nancy
