How late are slides open & activities going on ship? 3 day cruise is only one that will work, but then we miss that day at sea...boo! will we still be able to do things in the evening? how much will we miss by missing that extra day at sea? :-(

Hi again Mindy! One thing I can promise you is that you will not have a chance to be bored onboard the Disney Dream. There are so many activities planned all day and very late into the night.

The Donald and Mickey pools tend to be open from about 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m, though sometimes I've seen those pools open from 6:00 a.m. to midnight. The Quiet Cove Pool for adults does typically have regular hours of 6:00 a.m. - midnight. My kids love to enjoy the Mickey pool after dinner when sometimes they've been the only ones in the water. They don't get to swim at night very often back home, so that's a special treat! The Mickey slide is open until around 7:00 p.m. usually, but the AquaDuck has later hours, sometimes until midnight. You'll need to check your Personal Navigator each day for specific times, but that should give you a good idea of what to expect. Of course, when deck parties are going on, like the Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party, the hours at the pools will be changed.

Each evening, you'll find not only the amazing Broadway style show, but also cabaret style shows, family activities, character greetings, dance parties, adults only entertainment, fun in the Youth Clubs and many other activities going on until midnight (or later for the teens in Vibe)! Though I'm sure you'll leave the ship wishing you could stay longer, you will certainly get a chance to get a good feel for many of the great activities that Disney Cruise Line offers it's guests. My advice is to re-book for a future cruise while you're onboard so you can take advantage of discounts, reduced deposits and onboard credits for that next cruise. After three magical nights onboard the Dream, I'm sure you'll be anxious to cruise with Disney again, Mindy!
