Too late for a reservation at California Grill, so where is the next best viewing area? I read something about the Polynesian beach area? If so, where is that located?

Hi, Billy!  The beach at the Polynesian Resort is a great place to watch the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom.  You just have to get to the resort, then go through the Great Ceremonial House.  Cross straight back, and head to the back side of the Hawaii and Tokelau buildings.  The beach is there, and you'll likely see quite a few other guests there as well.

If you are at the Contemporary Resort, there is an observation deck on the fourth floor that has another excellent view of the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom.  It's located across the floor from Chef Mickey's.

    Have a great time!
