    Hi! I got a late registration for the Disney marathon in January. How do I get on a waitlist or something for a room? Sorry, newbie question!!

    No need to apologize, this is not a newbie question at all! How often have I sat trying to plan the perfect vacation only to realize that my dates had no availability? It can be so frustrating! 

    I wish there was a waitlist feature for hotel rooms, but unfortunately, this option does not exist at this time. What I recommend that you do is to book at a Good Neighbor Hotel. Make sure that whichever hotel you book has a great cancellation policy. This way, you can keep checking back on the Walt Disney World Resort website to see if anything opens up a little closer to the race. 

    I just know that you will do fabulously on your marathon, Eileen! While I haven't attempted anything longer than the occasional 10k myself, a runDisney event is on my bucket list, for sure!
